# The Land Registration Fee Order 2024, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 9th September 2024
Laid before Parliament 10th September 2024
Coming into force 9th December 2024
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 102 and 128(1) of the Land Registration Act 2002.
In accordance with section 102 of that Act, the Secretary of State has received the advice and assistance of the Rule Committee, appointed under section 127 of that Act.
Also, in accordance with section 102 of that Act, the Treasury has consented to the making of this Order.
