  "heading": "EXEMPTIONS",
  "text": "No fee shall be payable in respect of:\n(1) making a land certificate or charge certificate correspond with the register;\n(2) changing the name, address or description of a registered proprietor or other person referred to on the register, or changing the description of a property;\n(3) registering a discharge of a registered charge;\n(4) registering a notice or renewal of a caution or notice pursuant to the Matrimonial Homes Act 1983;\n(5) registering a notice, or a withdrawal of a notice of deposit or intended deposit of a land certificate or charge certificate;\n(6) entering on the register the death of a joint proprietor;\n(7) registering a disposition to which section 145(2) of the Act (dispositions otherwise than for valuable consideration by personal representatives of a deceased proprietor registered as such) applies;\n(8) registering a restriction which is obligatory under section 58(3) of the Act;\n(9) cancelling the registration of a notice (other than a notice in respect of an unregistered lease or unregistered rentcharge), caution, inhibition, restriction or note;\n(10) approving an estate layout plan or any draft document with or without a plan;\n(11) issuing of a summons under the seal of the Land Registry;\n(12) an order by the Registrar.",
