# The Land Registration (No. 2) Rules 1995, Introduction: Introductory text


LAND REGISTRATION, ENGLAND AND WALES
Made 22nd May 1995
Laid before Parliament 23rd May 1995
Coming into force
For the purposes of rules 5, 6 and 7 19th June 1995
For all other purposes 11 September 1995
The Lord Chancellor, with the advice and assistance of the Rule Committee appointed in pursuance of section 144 of the Land Registration Act 1925, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by that section and section 112 of the said Act, hereby makes the following Rules:
