Article 1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1)

These rules may be cited as the Land Registration (No. 2) Rules 1999 and shall come into force on 1st October 1999.

(2)

In these rules–

(a)

“the principal rules” means the Land Registration Rules 1925^f1,

(b)

“the open register rules” means the Land Registration (Open Register) Rules 1991^f2 and

(c)

a rule referred to by number means the rule so numbered in the principal rules or the open register rules as the case may be.
