In rule 117, renumber paragraphs (1) and (2) as (2) and (3) respectively and insert at the beginning—

“(1)

On a transfer of land held under an old tenancy, not being a transfer to which rule 116 applies, where covenants are to be implied under section 77 of the Law of Property Act 1925 as originally enacted, express reference shall be made in the transfer to that section.”
