  "text": "(This note is not part of the Rules)\nThese Rules substitute for Schedule A to the Land Registration (Scotland) Rules 1980 a new Schedule setting out amended forms to be used in connection with registration.\nThe layout of forms 1 to 5 and 8 to 15 has been altered to allow them to be read by computer in anticipation of the introduction of new technology at the Registers of Scotland Executive Agency. Changes have also been made to forms 1 to 15 to take account of legislative changes, including changes in fees, since the forms were last revised, to highlight the requirement, in certain cases involving first registration, of a plan identifying the relevant property on the Ordnance Map and to make other minor administrative improvements.",
