# Land Tax Act 1696, Section LXV: Chancery Officers within the Liberty of the Rolls to be there assessed.


Provided always That the Right Honorable the Master of the Rolls the Masters of Chancery Six Clerks Clerks of the Petty-Bag Examiners Registers Clerks of the Inrollment Clerks of the Affidavits & Subpena Office and all other the Officers of the Court of Chancery that execute their Offices within the Liberty of the Rolls shall be there assessed for their respective Offices and not elsewhere.
