# Land Tax Act 1698, Section LXX: Where First General Meeting of the Commissioners for the several Ridings of the County of York to be.


Provided alsoe and be it enacted by the Authority aforesaid That the First Generall Meeting of the Commissioners for the West Riding of the County of Yorke shall be held at the Towne of Pontefract and the First Generall Meeting of the Commissioners for the North Riding of the County of Yorke shall be held at the Towne of Thirske And the First Generall Meeting of the Commissioners for the East Riding of the County of Yorke shall be held at the Towne of Killam Any thing in this Act before mentioned or any former Custom to the contrary notwithstanding
