# Land Tax Act 1698, Section XXXVIII: Landlords to pay on Houses where Foreign Ministers reside.


Provided alwaies and be it enacted That every Rate Tax or Assessment which shall be made or imposed by virtue of this Act in respect of any House or Tenement which an Ambassador Resident Agent or other Publick Minister of any Forreigne Prince or State now doth or hereafter shall inhabit or occupy shall be paid by the Landlord or Owner of the said Houses or Tenements respectively
