Regulation 8 Extension of categories of landfill subject to the 2000 Regulations etc.

(1)

In Part A of Section 5.2 of Part I of Schedule 1 to the 2000 Regulations (landfill and disposal to land)–

(a)

at the beginning there is inserted “(a)”; and

(b)

at the end there is inserted–

“(b)

The disposal of waste in any other landfill to which the 2003 Regulations apply.”

Regulations 8(2)(a), 9(1), 9(3) to 9(12) and 9(14) of the 2000 Regulations shall not apply to landfills.

Paragraph 5(b) of Part 1 of Schedule 4 and paragraph 4(8)(b) of Part 2 of Schedule 7 to the 2000 Regulations (requirements to advertise in the Edinburgh Gazette), shall not apply to landfills falling within paragraph (b) of Part A of Section 5.2 of Part 1 of Schedule 1 to those Regulations.
