# The Landmines Act 1998 (Jersey) Order 2001, Article 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) This Order may be cited as the Landmines Act 1998 (Jersey) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 2nd January 2002.
(2) In this Order—
“the Act” means the Landmines Act 1998,
“Jersey” means the Bailiwick of Jersey, and
“section” means a section of the Act and “subsection” shall be construed accordingly.
