# The Langstone (Pilotage) Harbour Revision Order 2005, Introduction: Introductory text


PILOTAGE
Made 1st April 2005
Coming into force 1st April 2005
Whereas the Langstone Harbour Board have applied for a harbour revision order under section 14 of the Harbours Act 1964 and in accordance with section 7(5) of the Pilotage Act 1987;
And whereas no objections to the application have been made in accordance with paragraph 10(2)(f) of Schedule 3 to the said Act;
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State for Transport (being the appropriate Minister under subsection (7) of the said section 14), in exercise of the power conferred by that section and now vested in him, hereby makes the following Order:
