Introductory text

The Legal Services Board with the consent of the Lord Chancellor makes the following Rules in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 173, 174 and 204(2), (3) and (4)(b) of the Legal Services Act 2007^f1.

In accordance with section 173(3) of that Act, the Legal Services Board has satisfied itself that the apportionment of the levy as between different leviable bodies is in accordance with fair principles.
