Article 3 The Council

(1)

Section 3 of the Act (the Council) shall be amended as follows.

(2)

In subsection (2)(c) omit the words “, whose appointments shall not take effect unless and until confirmed by the Governor for the time being of the Bank of England”.

(3)

In subsection (5), paragraphs (ii) and (iii) shall cease to have effect.
