  "text": "In this Chapter—\n“associate member” has the meaning given by section 12(1);\n“CCA” has the meaning given by section 9(1);\n“combined authority” has the meaning given by section 9(5);\n“constituent council” has the meaning given by section 10(11);\n“deputy mayor” has the meaning given by section 29(7);\n“economic prosperity board” has the meaning given by section 9(5);\n“established mayoral strategic authority” means a mayoral CCA designated by the Secretary of State under section 25A;\n“fire and rescue authority” means a fire and rescue authority under the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004;\n“general functions” has the meaning given by section 30(2);\n“Integrated Transport Authority” has the meaning given by section 9(5);\n“local government area” has the meaning given by section 46(6);\n“mayor”, in relation to the area of a CCA, means the mayor for the area of the CCA by virtue of regulations under section 27(1);\n“mayoral CCA” has the meaning given by section 27(8);\n“nominating body” means a body designated under section 11(1);\n“non-constituent member” has the meaning given by section 11(3);\n“non-mayoral CCA” means a CCA that is not a mayoral CCA;\n“PCC functions” has the meaning given by section 33(3);\n“two-tier county council” has the meaning given by section 9(5);\n“unitary county council” has the meaning given by section 9(5);\n“unitary district council” has the meaning given by section 9(5).",
