# The Licensing Act 2003 (Commencement No. 7 and Transitional Provisions) Order 2005, Article 1: Citation and interpretation


(1) This Order may be cited as the Licensing Act 2003 (Commencement No.7 and Transitional Provisions) Order 2005.
(2) In this Order –
“the Act” means the Licensing Act 2003;
“the 1968 Act” means the Gaming Act 1968;
“the 1976 Act” means the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976;
“the 1985 Act” means the Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985;
“the second appointed day” means 24th November 2005.
