# The Licensing Register (Scotland) Regulations 2007, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Licensing Register (Scotland) Regulations 2007 and shall come into force on 1st February 2008.
(2) In these Regulations–
“the Act” means the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005; and
“Board” means a Licensing Board continued in existence or established under section 5 of the Act.
