  "heading": "Prohibition of unlicensed sale of alcohol",
  "text": "(1) Alcohol is not to be sold on any premises except under and in accordance with—\n(a) a premises licence, or\n(b) an occasional licence,\ngranted under this Act in respect of the premises.\n(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to the selling of alcohol—\n(a) on exempt premises, or\n(b) to trade.\n(3) A person who—\n(a) sells alcohol, or\n(b) ... allows alcohol to be sold,\nin breach of subsection (1) commits an offence.\n(4) A person guilty of an offence under subsection (3) is liable on summary conviction to—\n(a) a fine not exceeding £20,000,\n(b) imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months, or\n(c) both.",
