  "text": "(1) This regulation makes provision regarding a per-year amount, for use in determining the maximum number of credits and the default number of credits for a course year (under paragraph 1C of Schedule 2 to the 2017 Act).\n(2) The “per-year amount” is the limit on the number of credits associated with a course year that a provider can charge for.\n(3) The per-year amount is—\n(a) for a course year to which credits are attached, 180;\n(b) for a course year to which credits are not attached, as shown in the table below—\nIntensity of course year\nPer-year amount\n(a) “accelerated course” is defined in paragraph 4(2) of Schedule 2 to the 2017 Act.\naccelerated\n180\nfull-time, where the course year contains activities which cumulatively are 15 or more weeks long\n120\npart-time, where the course year contains activities which cumulatively are 15 or more weeks long\n90\nfull-time, where the course year contains activities which cumulatively are less than 15 weeks long\n60\npart-time, where the course year contains activities which cumulatively are less than 15 weeks long\n45.",
