  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the Lifts Regulations 2016 (S.I. 2016/1093) to make clear that those Regulations apply to lifts and safety components for lifts placed on the market on or after 8th December 2016 (the commencement date for those Regulations), but do not apply to lifts and safety components for lifts placed on the market before that date.",
