  "text": "(1) A manufacturer of safety components for lifts which are manufactured by series production must ensure that, before placing the safety component on the market, procedures are in place to ensure that any safety components so manufactured will be in conformity with Part 2.\n(2) In doing so, the manufacturer must take adequate account of—\n(a) any change in safety component for lifts design or characteristics; and\n(b) any change in a designated standard or in another technical specification by reference to which the ... declaration of conformity was drawn up.",
