# The Lifts Regulations 2016, Paragraph 7

Extent: E+W+S

Where the approved body has required an installer or a manufacturer to take corrective measures and the installer or the manufacturer has failed to take such measures, or those measures have not had the required effect, the approved body must restrict, suspend or withdraw any certificate of conformity or approval decision.
