# The Limitation (Northern Ireland) Order 1989, Article 35: Extinction of mortgagor's title at expiration of time limit


Subject to section 53 of the Land Registration Act (Northern Ireland) 1970, at the expiration of the time limit fixed by this Order for a mortgagor to bring an action to redeem land subject to a mortgage, the title of the mortgagor to the land is extinguished.
