  "heading": "Commencement, extent and short title.",
  "text": "(1) The preceding provisions of this Act shall come into force on such day as the Secretary of State may by order made by statutory instrument appoint; and different days may be appointed for different purposes.\n(2) The Secretary of State may by order made by statutory instrument make any transitional provisions and savings which appear appropriate in connection with the coming into force of any provision of this Act.\n(3) For the purposes of the Scotland Act 1998 this Act shall be taken to be a pre-commencement enactment within the meaning of that Act.\n(4) This Act extends to the whole of the United Kingdom.\n(5) This Act may be cited as the Limited Liability Partnerships Act 2000.",
