  "text": "(1) A general partner that is a legal entity must give notice to the registrar if a legal entity becomes a corporate managing officer of the general partner.\n(2) A general partner that is a legal entity must give notice to the registrar if a legal entity became a corporate managing officer of the general partner—\n(a) after the application for registration of the limited partnership in which the entity is a general partner was delivered to the registrar under section 8A, but\n(b) before the limited partnership was registered.\n(3) A notice under this section must include a statement specifying the name of the proposed named contact for the corporate managing officer.\n(4) The proposed named contact for a corporate managing officer must be an individual who is a managing officer of the corporate managing officer.\n(5) The statement must—\n(a) contain the required information about the proposed named contact specified in the statement (see Part 4 of the Schedule), and\n(b) be accompanied by a statement by the proposed named contact confirming that the proposed named contact is a managing officer of the corporate managing officer.\n(6) A notice under subsection (1) must be given within the period of 14 days beginning with the day on which the legal entity becomes a corporate managing officer of the general partner.\n(7) A notice under subsection (2) must be given within the period of 14 days beginning with the day on which the limited partnership was registered.",
