# The Limits on Rent Increases (Scotland) Order 1989, Article 10: Transitional


Where a rent is registered before this Order comes into force in the circumstances specified in section 50(2) of the 1984 Act the date of registration shall be deemed to be the date of the first day after expiry of the period of three years mentioned in section 46(3) of the 1984 Act.
