# Loan Societies Act 1840 (repealed 19.11.1998), Section 17: Recovery of loans in courts of request.

Notwithstanding the provisions herein-before contained, the treasurer or clerk of such society for the time being may proceed for the recovery of the sum due on such note against the party or parties liable to pay the same, in any county court,. . . having jurisdiction. . . .
