# The Local Authorities (Allowances) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1989, Regulation 1: Citation, commencement and interpretation


(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Local Authorities (Allowances) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1989 and shall come into force on 1st April 1989.
(2) In these Regulations, “the principal Regulations” means the Local Authorities (Allowances) (Scotland) Regulations 1975.
