# The Local Authorities (Categorisation) (England) (No. 2) Order 2004, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order categorises local authorities in England into five categories according to performance. The categorisation follows a report of the Audit Commission on 8th November 2004.
