# The Local Authorities (Categorisation) (England) Order 2006, Introduction: Introductory text


LOCAL GOVERNMENT, ENGLAND
Made 17th November 2006
Laid before Parliament 24th November 2006
Coming into force 15th December 2006
The Secretary of State, makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 99(4) of the Local Government Act 2003.
In accordance with section 99(4) of that Act she has received a report from the Audit Commission produced under section 99(1) of that Act.
