# The Local Authorities (Code of Conduct) (Local Determination) (Amendment) Regulations 2004, Regulation 4: Amendment of regulation 2


In regulation 2 (interpretation), after paragraph (2), insert the following paragraph—
“(3) Any reference in these Regulations to a monitoring officer shall include any person nominated by a monitoring officer as his deputy for the purposes of section 5(7) of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 and any person nominated under the provisions of section 82A(2) or (3) of the Act to perform any function..”
