# The Local Authorities (Companies) (Amendment) (Wales) Order 2002, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 18th July 2002
Coming into force 1st September 2002
The National Assembly for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred upon the Secretary of State by sections 39(5) to (7) of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989, but now vested in it by virtue of the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 1999 hereby makes the following Order.
