Article 2 Appropriate sum for calculating limit on discretionary expenditure
For the purposes of section 137(4)(a) of the Local Government Act 1972f1, the sum appropriate to a local authority which is a constituent councilf2 for the purposes of a scheme under section 48 of the Local Government Act 1985f3 (grants to voluntary organisations) is £475.
