Article 1 Title and commencement

(1)

This order may be cited as the Local Authorities (England) (Property etc.) Order 1973.

(2)

This order shall come into operation—

(a)

for the purposes of the following provisions, namely:—

  • paragraphs (2) to (6) of article 10

  • article 11 in so far as it provides for agreements

  • article 12

  • paragraphs (1) to (3) and (5) of article 19

  • paragraph (3) of article 20

  • paragraphs (5) and (6) of article 23

  • paragraph (1) of article 25

  • articles 21, 22, 26, 27, 37 and 39

  • paragraph 3(b) and (c) of Schedule 2,

  • on 21st December 1973; and

(b)

for all other purposes, on 1st April 1974.
