# The Local Authorities Etc. (Allowances) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2002, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations amend the Local Authorities Etc. (Allowances) (Scotland) Regulations 1995, which make provision as to the payment of allowances of various sorts to members of Scottish local authorities and joint boards. The amendments all concern increases in the maximum amounts payable by way of allowances.
