# The Local Authorities etc. (Miscellaneous Provision) (No. 3) Order 1975, Introduction: Introductory text


LOCAL GOVERNMENT, ENGLAND AND WALES
Made 8th October 1975
Laid before Parliament 22nd October 1975
Coming into Operation 12th November 1975
The Secretary of State for the Environment and the Secretary of State for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by sections 254(1)(a) and (2)(a) and (c), 255 and 266(2) of the Local Government Act 1972 and section 34(1) of the Water Act 1973 and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following order:—
