This Order makes further provision incidental, consequential, transitional and supplementary to the Local Government Act 1972 and the Water Act 1973 relating to—

(a) the amendment, repeal or revocation of certain public general and other Acts and instruments;

(b) the abolition of one joint board;

(c) the charter of the University College of Wales;

(d) the transfer of certain property, etc.;

(e) the transfer of certain officers;

(f) the operation of section 121 of the Act of 1972 in relation to certain compulsory purchase orders; and

(g) discharges of water and sewage by the Thames Water Authority.
