# The Local Authorities (Members' Allowances) (Amendment) (England) Regulations 2000, Regulation 2: Increase of allowances


(1) Regulation 17 (allowance in respect of conferences and meetings) of the Local Authorities (Members' Allowances) Regulations 1991 is amended, in paragraph (2), by the substitution for “£29.48” of “ £30.39”.
(2) The amendment made by paragraph (1) applies in relation to attendance at a conference or meeting on or after 1st April 2000.
