# The Local Authorities (Members' Allowances) (Amendment) (Wales) Regulations 2001, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 25th July 2001
Coming into force 1st August 2001
The National Assembly for Wales makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers given to the Secretary of State by sections 173(1), (2) and (4) and 175(1A) of the Local Government Act 1972 which are now vested in the National Assembly for Wales so far as exercisable in Wales.
