  "heading": "Alternative arrangements—standing orders relating to staff",
  "text": "Subject to paragraphs (3) and (4) of regulation 10, on or before the date on which a relevant authority starts to operate alternative arrangements under Part II of the 2000 Act it must—\n(a) incorporate in standing orders relating to its staff the provisions set out in Part IV of Schedule 1 or provisions to the like effect; and\n(b) modify any of its existing standing orders in so far as is necessary to conform with the provisions referred to in sub-paragraph (a).",
