  "text": "In regulation 2 (interpretation)—\n(a) omit the definition of “alternative arrangements” (“trefniadau amgen”);\n(b) omit the definition of “council manager” (“rheolwr cyngor”);\n(c) omit “and” following the definition of “relevant joint committee” (“cydbwyllgor perthnasol”); and\n(d) at the appropriate places insert—\n(i) \"“head of democratic services” (“pennaeth gwasanaethau democrataidd”) means the officer designated under section 8 of the Local Government (Wales) Measure 2011 (head of democratic services);\"; and\n(ii) \"“remuneration” (“cydnabyddiaeth ariannol”) has the same meaning as in section 43(3) of the Localism Act 2011;\".",
