"text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThe Local Education Authority (Behaviour Support Plans) Regulations 1998 (S.I. 1998/644) require local education authorities to publish a revised plan in 2001, between 1st January and 1st April, and in the same period every third year thereafter.\nThese Regulations remove the requirement to publish a revised plan in every third year in respect of two groups of local education authorities; those which were categorised as excellent in the Comprehensive Performance Assessment in 2003 and achieved a 3-star rating for performance in education, and those which are preparing a pilot Single Education Plan.\nThe removal of the date for publishing a revised plan contained in regulation 5(3)(b) of the 1998 Regulations also means that there will be no requirement for the listed local education authorities to consult or publish in accordance with regulations 3 and 4 of the 1998 Regulations.",
