The forms prescribed by articles 4, 6 and 8 and Schedules 2 and 4 to this Order are Welsh versions of certain forms and of forms of words which may be used at community council elections in Wales.

The forms prescribed by articles 5, 7 and 9 and Schedules 3 and 5 to this Order are the versions partly in Welsh and partly in English of certain forms and of forms of words, which must be used at community council elections in Wales.

The Welsh forms included in this Order reflect changes made to the English versions of the forms and forms of words that were brought about in consequence of the passing of the Electoral Administration Act 2006 (c. 22).

This Order replaces and revokes the Local Elections (Communities) (Welsh Forms) Order 1987 and the Local Elections (Communities) (Welsh Forms) Order 2004.
