# The Local Elections (Northern Ireland) (Amendment) Order 2001, Article 9

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

In section 130(1) of the 1962 Act (interpretation)—
(a) after the definition of “electors” insert:
““elective office” means any office to which a local election is held in Northern Ireland;” and
(b) omit the definition of “public office”.
