  "text": "(1) In section 23(7) of the Act of 1962 (returning officer at local election to submit account of expenses to local authority within three months of the declaration of the result of the election), for the words “three months” there shall be substituted the words “six months”.\n(2) At the end of section 24(1) of the Act of 1962 (time during which claims must be made against the returning officer), there shall be added the words “In the case of a local election, this subsection shall have effect as if, for the period of twenty-one days referred to above, there were substituted a period of forty-two days”.",
