# The Local Elections (Principal Areas) (Amendment) Rules 1990, Article 14


In paragraph (2) of rule 49, as substituted by paragraph 18(b) of that Schedule–
(a) for sub-paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) there shall be substituted the words “district council”;
(b) for the words from “(i) parish” to “election, respectively,” there shall be substituted the words “parish or community council election”, and
(c) for the words “election referred to in sub-paragraphs (a), (b) or (c) above”, in both places where they occur, there shall be substituted the words “district council election”.
