# The Local Elections (Principal Areas) (Amendment) Rules 1990, Article 2


For rule 4 of the Local Elections (Principal Areas) Rules 1986 there shall be substituted the following rule–
“4 In these Rules, “principal area” means a county, district or London borough.”.
