# The Local Elections (Wales) (Amendment) Rules 2026, Rule 4


In rule 6 (nomination papers: descriptions), for paragraph (4)(b) substitute—
“(b) the description—
(i) consists of the registered name of each of the parties shown in either or both of the versions described in paragraph (5), or
(ii) is a description registered for use by each of the parties under section 28B of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 2000 (joint descriptions), and”.
