  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the Local Governance (Scotland) Act 2004 (Remuneration) Regulations 2007 in relation to councillor remuneration. The amendment prohibits local authorities from allowing any body controlled by a single local authority from making payments to councillors by way of remuneration.",
