Paragraph 39

in section 2(6) after the words “London borough” there shall be inserted the words “to the Inner London Education Authority, to a joint authority established by Part IV of the Local Government Act 1985”; and

in section 8(1), in the definition of “local authority”, after the words “county district” there shall be inserted the words “the Inner London Education Authority, or a joint authority established by Part IV of the Local Government Act 1985,”.
